Role Description
We currently have an opportunity for an IT Manager to join our Corporate IT team based in our Canton, MA; Farmington, CT; Salem, VA offices or remotely within the United States. The IT Manager is responsible for the support of company applications, serving as a business and delivery liaison between internal and external customers. Manages cross functional planning and project teams in the establishment, design and implementation of new or revised systems and programs. Provides leadership and direction to a team of Business Analysts, providing timely and insightful direction and coaching on roles, responsibilities, business strategy, and customer-driven culture expectations. Inspires and equips Business Analysts to excel in stakeholder engagement, requirements discovery, and value-driven delivery. Cultivates an environment that promotes autonomy, collaboration, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
- Provides leadership and oversight to direct reports by establishing goals, providing coaching and feedback, evaluating performance, and supporting development and training initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead and guide Business Analysts in effective backlog management, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
- Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with both senior and operating level business leaders across the organization, customers and vendors.
- Ability to facilitate consensus among diverse stakeholders and ensure clarity of product vision and priorities.
- Be a thought partner to the team, IT and business stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvements of processes and tools, or defining new strategic IT capabilities.
- Coaches and mentors direct reports, supporting their growth in technical knowledge, project delivery, agile methodologies, and overall personal development.
- Provides strategic direction and empowers teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
- Champions agile principles, fosters accountability, and removes barriers to enable timely, value-driven outcomes.
- Ensures technology initiatives align with business goals, drives digital transformation, and leads change management efforts across the organization.
- Acts as the point of contact for escalated department/team issues and facilitates the prioritization process.
- Stays current with technology and industry trends and best practices, guiding the team in adopting new tools and approaches.
- Manages delivery team members through projects and the project life cycle; accountable for identifying needs, securing commitments and monitoring progress of deliverables.
- Responsible for communication of project progress with senior IT and business leadership.
- Participates in key IT and assigned business unit governance, planning and initiative review teams, committees and meetings.
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence in all interactions, cultivating trust, empathy, and open communication within the team and across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing teams in a dynamic environment, including teams performing Business Analyst functions.
- Advanced understanding of IT applications and technologies.
- Strong emotional intelligence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools, as well as modern IT delivery practices.
- Experience with AI-driven solutions (ChatGPT, RPA, predictive analytics) and integrating automation.
- Experience with Business Analyst and Underwriting.
Requirements
- The typical base salary range for this position is: $134,000 - $178,000 based on the factors aforementioned.
- For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $157,000 - $183,000.
