Job Description
Role Description
The role will be responsible for providing contract drafting and negotiation services for one of the largest multinational industrial companies in the US. We are looking for someone with at least two to four years of experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation. Experience in the M&A buy-side, M&A sell-side, data protection/privacy, service agreements, and NDAs are preferred.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements from NDAs, DPA, Service Agreements, etc.
- Work within contract management systems and client environment
- Effectively communicate with client and their stakeholders
- Work with the stakeholder to identify and achieve specific business goals
- Attend stakeholder meetings and team meetings
- Guide stakeholders based on company legal guidance, policy, and process
- Independently manage workload by assessing priorities and deadlines for tasks assigned
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Possession of an outstanding customer service attitude
- Exceptional attention to detail
Requirements
- JD from accredited law school is required
- Bar admission to any state is preferred
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years of contracts negotiation with solid drafting experience
