Role Description

We are currently looking for a D365 F&O Developer to join our team.

• The ideal candidate will have experience with X++, as well as a solid understanding of the Finance and Operations modules.
• The D365 F&O Developer will participate in daily stand-up meetings to share progress from the previous day, communicate planned tasks and objectives for the current day, and identify and report any blockers or challenges that may impact progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in Software Engineering and Development.
• Hands-on AX2012 and/or D365 F&O development experience.
• X++ Development to update reports or provide D365 extensions.
• Ensure testing of development work to drive quality work results.
• Experienced with Application development life cycle and software development methodologies including Scrum.
• Able to make well-reasoned design decisions and tradeoffs, and work in other areas of our codebase with guidance if necessary.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and pipelines.
• Requires minimal direction or oversight.
• Strong drive to meet and exceed commitments.
• Experience required with the following Microsoft technologies: Visual Studio, X++, .NET, T-SQL, and SSRS.
• English proficiency: Conversational or advanced level, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional and technical contexts.

Requirements

• Nice to have: Experience with the following technologies: TFS, GIT, IIS, and SQL Server.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Main Activity

• Customize and extend the Dynamics 365 F&O platform using X++ programming, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform system configurations, testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation of the Dynamics 365 F&O system.
• Develop and maintain data migration strategies and tools to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer between systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
• Stay up to date with the latest Dynamics 365 F&O features, updates, and best practices to advise on system enhancements and improvements.
• Document technical specifications, project details, and system processes.
