- Lead and mentor a distributed engineering organization, managing direct reports while supporting Engineering Managers in scaling their teams.
- Drive the technical vision and execution of platform strategy, including AI-based services that enhance clinical trial workflows.
- Oversee delivery of end-to-end software solutions that address high-impact site use cases, ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Design to align engineering initiatives with business priorities.
- Influence organizational design, processes, and culture to enable rapid product delivery and innovation.
- Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent while fostering a diverse, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
- Participate in architectural design discussions and technical problem-solving, maintaining deep understanding of core products and systems.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership, including managing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, data-heavy SaaS products on schedule with Agile methodologies.
- Strong technical background and experience in platform architecture, software development, and AI-enabled systems.
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams, with the ability to foster collaboration and engagement across locations.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and coaching skills, with a history of influencing organizational outcomes beyond the immediate team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in regulated industries, healthcare, or life sciences is highly desirable.
