Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Laravel (PHP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development, ERP customization, server infrastructure management, and application version lifecycle management.

This role requires someone who can build, maintain, and optimize scalable web applications while supporting ERP integrations, managing server environments, and handling framework upgrades to ensure long-term system stability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities: Full Stack Development (Laravel Focus)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel (PHP).
• Build responsive, modern front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Vue.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile integrations.
• Optimize application performance, database queries (MySQL), and backend processes.
• Perform debugging, testing, and code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection standards.
• Conduct regular system backups and maintain data integrity.
• Lead and execute framework upgrades, including migration from Laravel 10 to Laravel 13 (upon release), and manage breaking changes across major version updates.
• Refactor legacy codebases to align with updated Laravel architecture and best practices.
• Ensure third-party packages and dependencies remain compatible and secure during upgrades.

Server & Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain server environments including AWS and shared hosting platforms.
• Deploy applications to staging and production environments.
• Monitor server performance, uptime, and security.
• Configure and manage databases (MySQL).
• Implement security best practices and backup strategies.
• Troubleshoot hosting, DNS, SSL, and deployment issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong experience in Full Stack Development with Laravel (PHP).
• Demonstrated experience migrating applications across major Laravel versions (including experience upgrading legacy Laravel environments such as Laravel 10 to newer versions).
• Experience refactoring legacy code and managing dependency compatibility during framework upgrades.
• Experience with C/AL or AL development.
• Strong understanding of MySQL databases.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS or similar cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Git version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy systems (e.g., CodeIgniter to Laravel).
• Understanding of system architecture and scalable application design.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
• Experience or exposure to Microsoft Business Central preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Schedule and Compensation

• 8am – 4:30pm PST
• $16 - $18 an hour
