The Senior Implementation Engineer will lead the end-to-end deployment of EDI solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with industry standards. This role combines technical expertise, problem-solving, and client-facing collaboration to deliver reliable, scalable, and optimized data exchange systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design workflows, implement integrations, and provide strategic guidance to clients. The position also involves documenting processes, conducting training, and implementing quality assurance protocols to guarantee accurate and efficient operations. - Lead the full lifecycle implementation of EDI solutions, ensuring compliance with standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements, design workflows, and implement integration solutions via protocols like AS2, SFTP, and FTPS.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during implementation, providing guidance on best practices, customization, and integration strategies.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex EDI-related issues to minimize operational disruption, coordinating with support teams as needed.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including specifications, process flows, and user guides, and conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams.
- Perform rigorous testing and implement quality assurance measures to ensure data integrity, system compatibility, and error-free transmissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDI implementation and integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL, Oracle) and data transformation techniques.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Relevant EDI certifications (e.g., Certified EDI Professional) are a plus.
