Role Description

The Sales Executive will drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities within the digital banking and fintech sectors. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Solutions Architecture, Product, Marketing, and Client Services, to deliver tailored offerings that meet market demands. Success in this position comes from managing the full sales cycle, maintaining a robust pipeline, and providing market insights to influence strategic decisions. Travel and engagement with industry events will be part of the role, ensuring visibility and thought leadership.

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to identify, qualify, and convert new client opportunities in assigned territories.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and deal closure, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline with consistent 3x quota coverage, accurately forecasting and tracking opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with prospects, clients, partners, and industry organizations to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with client needs and company offerings.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and client feedback to influence product development and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or technology-based services, including 3+ years in digital banking, fintech, or financial services markets.
  • Proven track record of quota achievement and managing full sales cycles, including prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover client needs and articulate business value.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, particularly with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), pipeline management, sales forecasting, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and client feedback.
  • Highly organized, capable of prioritizing multiple opportunities and responsibilities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel 25–40% annually.
