Role Description
As the Support Services Representative, you play a vital role in our mission to improve lives. Your responsibilities include:
- Sort and prepare incoming paper-based mail.
- Scan incoming paper checks into application(s) for bank processing.
- Review, assemble, and prepare documents to ensure successful and accurate scanning.
- Review and verify prepped documents for accuracy prior to scanning.
- Monitor electronic mail queue in document repository application, review correspondence and route documents to applicable folder.
- Monitor printer(s) for outgoing claims; sort, attach backup document(s) and prepare for mailing.
- Retrieve billing documents through internal systems or external websites and distribute appropriately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- One year of work experience is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to an ever-changing environment.
- Able to speak clearly and concisely.
- Ability to use a 10-key calculator.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and act on simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Able to work overtime during peak periods.
