Job Description
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in government sales and/or selling geospatial hardware solutions
- Understanding of the government acquisition lifecycle and potential/preferred contract vehicles
- Knowledge of geospatial hardware, including optical total stations, GPS/GNSS, and terrestrial and mobile LIDAR scanners
- Bonus for candidates who also have experience selling complimentary cloud, SaaS, or software solutions to the DoD
- Familiarity with cloud-based software, and an understanding of DoD requirements for secure software deployment (e.g., FedRAMP/IL4 concepts)
- Ability to build personal relationships with prospects and clients
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and CRM systems
- Ability to work collaboratively across an organizational structure, including finance, legal, marketing, and product teams, to deliver targeted results
- High-energy, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset
- Commitment to Trimble’s values
- University degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
