Role Description

Want to work for an exciting company with an incredible and never ending appetite for growth? We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry-level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and some physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time remote position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 10-20 hours per week.

  • Travel in a 150-mile radius of Wichita, KS will be required. Furthest currently is 1 account in Fairview, OK. 143 Miles one way (Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving)
  • Cities will include:
    • Fairview, OK
    • Kingman, KS
    • Wakita, OK
    • Alva, OK
    • Wichita, KS
    • Haysville, KS
    • Hutchinson, KS
    • North Newton, KS
    • Halstead, KS
    • Hesston, KS
  • Due to work being performed in long-term care homes, Covid-19 vaccine or masking/goggles may be required.
  • Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
  • Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
  • Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
  • Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities
  • Able to travel in your service area radius
  • Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
  • Flexibility is a must
  • High School education is preferred
  • Driver’s License required
