Role Description
To process, file and administer Medicaid offsets and provide Special Care Insurance Policies (SCIP) department assistance.
- Responsible for filing Medicaid premium offset request and follow up.
- Tracks and maintains accounts with updates for Medicaid offset approvals.
- Responsible for all requests pertaining to the Medicaid offsets.
- Assist with department calls and customer service needs.
- Completes data entry of patient demographics (responsible party / insurance / facility / referring provider) for billing information.
- Keys and maintains resident information.
- Adds applications and remains current with filing in systems.
- Helps maintain and complete insurance policies.
- Consistently delivers excellent customer service.
- Actively supports and complies with all components of the Company compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information; always abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.
- Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years administrative and data entry experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience with Medicaid offsets.
- Advance working knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Genelco Group Plus.
- Strong data entry skills and phone / email etiquette.
- Must have excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibits strong customer service and follow up skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Must have a positive attitude and be flexible to change.
- We will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Any offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
