Role Description

To process, file and administer Medicaid offsets and provide Special Care Insurance Policies (SCIP) department assistance.

  • Responsible for filing Medicaid premium offset request and follow up.
  • Tracks and maintains accounts with updates for Medicaid offset approvals.
  • Responsible for all requests pertaining to the Medicaid offsets.
  • Assist with department calls and customer service needs.
  • Completes data entry of patient demographics (responsible party / insurance / facility / referring provider) for billing information.
  • Keys and maintains resident information.
  • Adds applications and remains current with filing in systems.
  • Helps maintain and complete insurance policies.
  • Consistently delivers excellent customer service.
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the Company compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; always abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
  • To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years administrative and data entry experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Medicaid offsets.
  • Advance working knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Genelco Group Plus.
  • Strong data entry skills and phone / email etiquette.
  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibits strong customer service and follow up skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be flexible to change.
  • We will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Any offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
