Job Description

We’re looking for a Field Chief Financial Officer (Field CFO) to join Procore’s Revenue and Product & Technology (P&T) organizations. In this role, you’ll translate complex business cases into actionable digital strategies that demonstrate how Procore’s products and services drive measurable financial and operational value. You will act as a peer-level advisor to the C-Suite of the world’s largest construction firms and owners to ensure Procore’s platform is the cornerstone of their 3–5 year digital transformation roadmaps.

As a Field Chief Financial Officer (Field CFO), you’ll partner with Revenue and P&T Leadership to bridge the gap between abstract business imperatives and technical execution. Use your operational credibility, digital fluency, and deep understanding of construction P&L to architect investment strategies that justify large-scale technology adoption and ensure long-term customer success. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of industry expertise and technical innovation.

This position reports into the Field CXO organization, directly to our Chief Experience Officer and has the opportunity to work remotely from any U.S. location or be based in one of our U.S offices. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in developing high-fidelity business cases and ROI models that translate construction-specific financial goals into product-driven implementation strategies.

  • Build and maintain peer-level relationships with customer C-Suite executives to serve as a trusted advisor based on shared operational experience.

  • Synthesize complex customer financial data to create tailored value-realization maps supported by Procore’s platform and professional services.

  • Partner with Revenue and GTM teams to accelerate and de-risk "Must-Win" deals exceeding $1M ARR by validating the economic impact of the partnership.

  • Provide technical and financial validation for architectural strategies across the entire business lifecycle, including operations, accounting, and strategy.

  • Translate complex operational requirements into high-fidelity feedback and actionable insights for Product and Engineering leadership.

  • Identify emerging market trends such as AI and ERP interoperability to help prioritize long-term R&D investments that solve core business pain points.

  • Leverage exceptional storytelling skills to engage industry peers and analysts by translating field realities into compelling boardroom narratives.

  • Travel to customer meetings and on-sites to provide executive level engagement and peer to peer interactions

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Construction Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry with a heavy focus on financial strategy and business operations.

  • Minimum of 5 years in a C-level role (CFO preferred) or a Senior Executive role reporting directly to the CEO.

  • Deep expertise in construction P&L, risk management, and capital allocation across various project lifecycle stages.

  • Proven ability to build complex business cases and financial models that justify enterprise technology investments.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills required to engage confidently with industry peers and analysts.

  • Strong strategic vision with the ability to connect technology implementation to tangible business outcomes.

  • Extensive professional network capable of creating new Stage 3 opportunities within strategic target accounts.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

247,200.00 - 339,900.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.

For Los Angeles County (unincorporated) Candidates:

Procore will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, in accordance with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.

A criminal history may have a direct, adverse, and negative relationship on the following job duties, potentially resulting in the withdrawal of the conditional offer of employment: 1. appropriately managing, accessing, and handling confidential information including proprietary and trade secret information, as well as accessing Procore's information technology systems and platforms; 2. interacting with and occasionally having unsupervised contact with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and/or colleagues; and 3. exercising sound judgment.
