Job Description

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Access Management—defining how Vanta helps customers automate onboarding, offboarding, and access review workflows • Drive discovery and prioritization across customer segments, from startups to enterprises, building solutions that scale as customers grow • Partner with engineering, design, sales, solutions engineering, and customer success to ship high-quality features frequently and ensure successful adoption • Identify and scope expansion opportunities—including AI-powered access recommendations, workflow automation enhancements, and adjacent capabilities—with clear business cases • Define success metrics and use quantitative and qualitative data to guide roadmap decisions and measure product impact

Job Requirements

  • 6-8 years of product management experience, with significant experience building for diverse customer segments and understanding enterprise customer needs
  • Deeply customer-focused with strong discovery skills—you proactively engage with customers to understand the "why" behind requests and translate insights into scalable solutions
  • Technical fluency—you're comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, and system architecture, and can partner effectively with engineering on technical decisions
  • Strategic yet execution-focused—you balance big-picture thinking with pragmatic delivery, managing tradeoffs and shipping iteratively
  • AI product experience and opportunity identification—you've built AI-powered products or features (huge plus) and can identify where AI creates meaningful customer value
  • Metrics-driven mindset—you establish clear success metrics and use data to inform prioritization and measure impact
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills—you collaborate effectively with engineering, design, sales, and customer-facing teams to deliver results
  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
