Job Description
• Manage and grow a portfolio of nursing program accounts within the assigned territory
• Drive revenue growth through renewals, program expansion, and new solution adoption
• Partner with nursing faculty and leadership to identify program goals and align Elsevier solutions to their needs
• Lead strategic sales conversations across multiple stakeholders including faculty, simulation leaders, and academic leadership
• Support successful product implementation and adoption in collaboration with training and customer success teams
• Provide ongoing account support, data insights, and recommendations that help programs improve student performance and outcomes
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account activity in Salesforce
• Lead renewal and expansion strategies for enterprise-level customers
Job Requirements
- Proven sales experience in higher education, healthcare, educational technology, publishing, or SaaS environments
- Experience managing complex or enterprise-level customer relationships
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand institutional needs and recommend strategic solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both faculty and executive-level stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and sales cycles simultaneously
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage pipeline and forecasting
- Interest in healthcare education and improving outcomes for nursing students
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% within the territory
- Must reside within the assigned territory (Dallas, TX preferred; Oklahoma or Louisiana considered)
