Role Description

• Develop and implement end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies.
• Create and implement test plans.
• Monitor and manage test results, ensuring testing objectives have been satisfied.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function using quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity.
• Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.
• Design and develop test-driven engineering solutions and improve processes to deliver robust products and high-quality solutions.
• Scale testing efforts with cross-functional teams and create behavior driven scripts to support diverse scenarios.
• Work with test engineers, developers, architects, and designers to develop test plans and implement functional, automated tests.
• Testing activities will include designing and writing both manual and automated tests from functional requirements and automating tests in Java using Serenity, Selenium, and REST Assured to validate both UI and API requirements.
• Automation will run on Jenkins or GitLab and testers will review and report on results, coordinating with developers and creating defects as necessary.
• Testers will demonstrate new application functionality to product owners and coordinate UAT testing, as needed.

• Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Plans and leads major technology assignments.
• Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short term project growth and success.
• Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.

Requirements

• Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
• Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.
• May design embedded systems software.
• Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
