Job Description
Role Description
As UpGuard continues its rapid growth trajectory, we are focused on ensuring our teams have the tools and knowledge to work smarter, not just harder. The AI & Automation Enablement Lead is a critical new role designed to sit at the heart of our internal transformation.
Reporting to the Director of Analytics, Automation & AI, you will be the bridge between cutting-edge AI technology and the daily workflows of every UpGuardian. This role is not just about technical implementation, it’s about cultural enablement. You will drive significant business value by:
- Demystifying complex LLM concepts
- Building a library of high-impact training content
- Acting as a strategic partner to all departments to ensure they are leveraging automation to its full potential
You'll be the go-to resource for anyone at UpGuard looking to scale their impact, and your success will be measured directly by the confidence and adoption of AI tools across the entire global organization.
Qualifications
- 1 to 4 years in enablement, technical training or a related field
- A natural content creator with experience publishing educational or technical content, whether blog posts, YouTube videos, tutorials, or internal guides
- Exceptional communicator who can explain complex concepts simply and engagingly
- Energised by live sessions, presenting to groups, and working directly with teams
- Deep familiarity with the AI landscape. You're already tracking releases, testing tools, and forming opinions on what's useful versus hype
- Active user of AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or similar) with a solid understanding of LLMs, tokens, agents, and RAG
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
Requirements
- Deliver AI and automation training for new hires and existing team members, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Script, record, and publish short training videos and templates covering AI best practices, coding assistants, agents and n8n integration tutorials
- Create clear, engaging documentation for every new AI capability or automation launched
- Run weekly live sessions where teams get hands-on coaching with AI tools and automation workflows
- Track adoption, manage a feedback loop, and focus enablement where it's needed most
- You'll be measured on adoption: how many teams are actively using AI and automation tools, and how confidently they use them
- Your content and training will become the go-to resource for anyone at UpGuard looking to work smarter with AI
Benefits
- Monthly Lifestyle subsidy: Use this for financial, physical, and mental well-being
- WFH set-up allowance: To ensure you have the right environment to work in, we will help you get set up within your first 3 months at UpGuard
- $1500 USD annual Learning & Development allowance: To support your career development, all team members will be able to expense development opportunities against this allowance
- Annual leave: PTO plus two additional UpGuardian leave days to give you time to recharge your batteries
- 18 weeks paid Parental Leave: Irrespective of parenting role
- Personal Leave Allowance: This includes sick & carer’s leave
- Fully remote working environment: While we have physical offices in Sydney & Hobart, we do not mandate compulsory attendance
- Top-spec hardware: All team members will be provided with top-spec laptops for their role
- Generative AI subsidy: UpGuard provides paid subscriptions for all team members to access generative AI tools to support their work
