This role involves leading engineering teams to deliver AI-powered product and platform capabilities aimed at reducing administrative toil, improving responsiveness, and surfacing better insights for early education operators. The director will build systems and AI-native ways of working to transform the platform from a system of record into a system of action, accelerating value delivery to customers.

The intern will collaborate on designing and prototyping AI-powered features, contributing to the development, training, and evaluation of machine learning and NLP models using industry-standard tools. They will also work with large datasets, apply foundational ML techniques, and assist in integrating AI models into production systems.

The engineer will architect and scale an enterprise automation ecosystem, pairing process workflows with emerging AI technology to transform business operations across GTM, Finance, Product, and HR teams. Key duties include designing end-to-end solutions using AI features and automation tools, establishing secure automation standards, and translating AI automation into measurable business outcomes.

The role involves owning the full lifecycle of AI/ML projects, from problem framing and data acquisition to model evaluation, deployment, and continuous improvement, with a focus on LLMs and agentic workflows for financial services clients. Responsibilities include designing scalable data pipelines, implementing RAG strategies, establishing robust evaluation frameworks, and ensuring model governance and safety.
