Job Description

• Deliver complete mechanical designs including, tolerance stacks, coordinate CTE/Structural analysis, and assembly procedures • Develop CAD design and software workflows that convert parametric models from NX CAD geometry into formats that can be used by engineering teams and control systems within analysis algorithms • Develop software automation tools that enable users to interact with NX data from Python • Develop software tooling for integrating NX model parameters, coordinate systems, and geometry in existing scientific software tooling • Utilize software tools and the NXOpen API to enable coordinate transformations and quick access to a single source of truth • Have experience with ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5 standards • Develop software tooling to ensure that CAD designs and documentation comply with industry and internal CAD standards • Be part of a matrix organization as a member of the CAD Team reporting to a CAD Team Leader/Manager • Work within a multi-disciplinary and proven team of top scientists and engineers to support our functional teams

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM related field
  • 10 plus years of industry experience
  • Experienced with engineering release work flows and PLM tools
  • Five years of experience as a design engineer of mechanical, electro-mechanical or thermal-mechanical systems
  • Proven ability to extract key data using software automations for NX and TC
  • Experienced with GD&T per ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5
  • Ten plus years of experience in application of Siemens NX and Teamcenter
  • Self motivated and ability to apply problem solving methods
  • Experienced with programing Python, NXOpen API, Linux, Git and Computational Geometry
