Role Description
The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for optimizing Salesforce processes, supporting integrations and contributing to minor development efforts. This role involves:
- Identifying process efficiencies
- Implementing new Salesforce features
- Ensuring seamless integrations to support various teams at SmithRx
A significant focus of this role is the ownership of the Service Cloud environment, including:
- Technical setup and optimization of the SmithRx Contact Center
- Providing thought leadership to streamline workflows
- Managing the full lifecycle of third-party integrations
- Ensuring support infrastructure scales alongside growth
In addition to core administrative responsibilities, the role requires basic coding skills to enhance Salesforce functionality through Flows and API integrations.
The ideal candidate will:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand workflows
- Build automation that improves efficiency, streamlines operations, and enhances user experience
Qualifications
- 8+ years of total relevant experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience with hands-on expertise in configuration, automation, and integrations
- Deep experience setting up and optimizing Service Cloud features and Contact Center technologies
- Strong understanding and experience of integrations, APIs, and middleware tools
- Proven ability to design scalable solutions and automation
- Experience working with security models, permission structures, and data governance best practices
- Salesforce Certifications: Must have Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant certifications
- Preferred certifications include Advanced Administrator and Platform Developer I
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data management abilities

- Manage advanced Salesforce configurations, security settings, and user roles
- Lead the technical setup and maintenance of the Service Cloud environment
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of third-party integrations
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions
- Work closely with various teams to identify automation opportunities
- Assist with data governance
- Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics
- Support release management, change management, and deployment cycles
