Role Description
Under the direction of the ITS Project Management Office, the Project Manager will plan, direct and coordinate activities surrounding major department or organizational project(s) and initiative(s) to ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Responsibilities include:
- Operations analysis
- Feasibility studies
- Cost-benefit analysis
- Development of project work or implementation plans
- Formation of work groups
- Management of work group processes aligned with a standard project lifecycle
The Project Manager will facilitate information flow between project members, management and others, and operationalize relationships with external organizations, vendors and other strategic partners. The Project Manager has some managerial level responsibility and decision-making authority for assigned projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Master's Degree is a plus
- Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Requirements
- 7-10 years of work experience with extensive experience in project management
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus
- Experience with tools used for project management required
- Experience with business process flow analyses required
- Experience with an install of an enterprise wide application is a plus
- Background in healthcare preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in all phases of project management introducing medium-to-large-scale projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Good software and application knowledge with base knowledge of relevant technologies
- Experience in software development lifecycle
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office products including MS Project and Visio

Compensation Range
$112,000.00 - $162,500.00. This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, considering factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications/licensures, business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness. Note: This range is based on Boston-area data and is subject to modification based on geographic location.
