Job Description
Job Requirements
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Associate degree or two‑year technical diploma with 5–10+ years of progressive transformer field service experience, or High School Diploma / GED with 7–12+ years of progressive transformer field service experience.
- Demonstrated experience performing transformer installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, repair, and decommissioning activities.
- Hands‑on experience performing or overseeing transformer testing and diagnostic activities.
- Experience with oil handling, vacuum processing, and internal transformer inspections.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel extensively to customer sites.
- Strong technical problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in project‑based field environments.
