Role Description
The Corporate Tax Intern will report into the VP of Tax and Tax Counsel.
- Schedule tax returns in Excel
- Analyze tax returns
- Perform quantitative analysis of different tax filings
- Automate different processes and implement them into SharePoint and create dashboard
- Write up memos to support Audit questions
- Research different state tax laws while working on unclaimed property project
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or Pre-Law
- Dynamic, outgoing personality along with a very positive attitude and desire to provide excellent support
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to interface well with all departments at all levels both internally and externally
- Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated, persistent, dependable, and independent
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Knowledge of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
