Role Description

We are seeking a part-time CAD Technician to support our engineering team with drafting, documentation, and technical tasks. The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD 2D, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator who can help bring structural restoration projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate design plans, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of engineers.
• Review and analyze structural concerns, including settlement issues, exterior deck, handrail, or walkway problems, roof leaks or structural integrity concerns.
• Evaluate drainage issues and help propose corrective measures.
• Maintain organized project files, CAD drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience in structural or civil engineering drafting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or remotely while meeting deadlines.
