Job Description
Resource Innovations is seeking an energy program Market Engagement Lead to join our growing team in Seattle, Washington. As an Energy Efficiency Market Engagement Lead with Resource Innovations, you will be leading outreach and coordination of partners and participants in our decarbonization and energy efficiency programs.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving engagement initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful implementation of decarbonization measures within the small business and multifamily sectors throughout Western Washington. This position will provide market engagement support for a new decarbonization program in and around the Western Washington. The ideal candidate will reside in or around the greater Seattle Metropolitan Area, but other Western Washington locations will be considered. About half of your time will be spent in the field engaging with customers and contractors.
The ideal candidate possesses the right mix of organization, verbal and written communication skills, technical aptitude, and interpersonal skills to succeed in this position. In this role, you will collaborate with an existing project delivery team identifying and implementing electrification projects with multifamily and small business customers, engage trade allies and program partners, drive participation, interface with utility clients and maximize energy savings to achieve program goals. Through consistent engagement with project developers both internal and external to RI, this role will seek to ensure balanced programmatic efforts amongst underrepresented areas or customer segments.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Program Delivery Manager on outreach and coordination with customers and contractors
- Performing site audits of multifamily buildings
- Build relationships with Program Partners
- Coordinate with contractors, trade allies, program personnel, and clients to ensure electrification projects are completed in a timely manner
- Work closely with the Program Delivery Manager to ensure program KPIs are met, reporting, and documentation is completed on schedule
- Ensure compliance with existing Project Delivery Process
- Host meetings with stakeholders and key decision makers including quarterly reviews, program trainings, and roundtables as needed
- Communicate recommended project ideas to key decision makers
- Collaborate with internal and external project engineering team
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Requirements
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to the greater Seattle, Washington area within 30 days of acceptance.
- 3+ years of experience working in building trades, energy efficiency or technical sales
- A proven track record of working successfully with partners, stakeholders, customers, or clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and capable of independent delivery of projects assigned
- Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRMs, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel 20% within the greater Seattle, WA areas.
- Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
- Preferred skills, education and experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with HVAC and water heating systems, and/or energy efficiency and/or conservation programs is strongly desired

- Compensation & Benefits
- Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $65,000-95,000 In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
