We are looking for an experienced Seamstress to join our network of home-based tailoring professionals. As a Thimble Seamstress, you'll provide alterations and repairs for customers in your area. Requirements: • Proficiency in using sewing machines and other alteration tools • Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating fabric requirements • Ability to maintain high-quality standards • Strong communication and customer service skills Responsibilities: • Perform alterations and repairs on garments, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, working with multiple layers and replacing buttons or zippers • Use sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment to complete tailoring tasks • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting our customers with fitting and ensuring their satisfaction with the finished product • Take accurate measurements from customers during fittings • Maintain a clean and organized work area at home where the work is done If you have a passion for fashion, excellent sewing skills, and enjoy working with customers, we would love to hear from you.
