Job Description
• Prospect, develop, and manage a sales pipeline focused on companies with less than $2.5 million in annual revenue
• Execute merchant sales strategies within the Small Business segment
• Plan and execute successful sales campaigns to drive growth
• Provide regular activity reporting and progress updates to leadership
• Build, grow, and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders and bank partners
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to travel
- Five to eight years of relevant sales experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of product marketing, client service, and organizational operations (preferred)
- Proven marketing, business development, sales, and negotiation skills (preferred)
- Strong sales acumen with demonstrated experience managing and advancing a sales pipeline (preferred)
- Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve client issues effectively and creatively (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously (preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (preferred)
- Strong customer service orientation with consistent follow-up (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in payment processing; Merchant Services sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) software and systems preferred
- Proficiency using Salesforce to manage opportunities and track sales activity (preferred)
- Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills (preferred)
- Proven track record of achievement, competitiveness, motivation, integrity, and enthusiasm (preferred)
