Job Description
About Tribe AI
At Tribe, we’re on a mission to help enterprises realize the value of AI for their business. Every large enterprise wants to use AI to transform how they operate — but many don’t have the capabilities to do it. That gap is our opportunity.
We’re an AI-native services company that helps enterprises build and deploy best-in-class AI products that deliver real business impact. We partner closely with OpenAI and Anthropic, giving us rare visibility into the most advanced models, roadmaps, and GTM strategies in the world.
About the Role
As our Senior Technical Recruiter, you will own hiring for Tribe’s most critical technical and hybrid technical roles—the people who design, build, and deploy AI systems directly into customer environments.
You will design and run the technical hiring engine that allows Tribe to scale with both speed and rigor. This means recruiting for roles that often do not yet have standardized market definitions, partnering deeply with technical and delivery leadership, and building durable pipelines in a highly competitive AI talent market.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, exercises strong judgment, and wants to play a central role in shaping the technical foundation of a fast-growing AI company.
Key Responsibilities
Own hiring for Tribe’s most important technical roles
Hire for Tribe’s most important technical and delivery roles: Forward-Deployed AI Engineers, AI PMs, AI Architects, Field CTOs, and UI/UX, as well as Solutions Architects and Platform Product Engineers and Product leaders.
Build a scalable, high-quality technical hiring engine: Create structured interview processes, scorecards, and evaluation frameworks that raise the technical bar while enabling speed as we scale.
Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and hybrid roles: Source, evaluate, and close exceptional candidates across engineering, product, architecture, and design.
Develop durable, high-signal pipelines: Build proactive pipelines through outbound sourcing, referrals, and technical communities to stay ahead of future hiring needs.
Partner closely with technical leadership: Work directly with engineering, product, and delivery leaders to define emerging role profiles and forecast hiring needs.
Build for leverage: Manage external search partners and identify tools or process improvements that increase recruiting capacity without sacrificing quality.
Drive operational excellence across the funnel: Own recruiting metrics and continuously improve processes to support rapid growth and a strong candidate experience.
About You
6+ years of recruiting experience, with significant focus on technical roles (engineering, product, architecture, design).
Proven success owning full-cycle recruiting and closing senior, high-caliber technical candidates in competitive markets.
Experience recruiting hard-to-define or emerging roles, especially where technical depth and business context intersect.
Strong ability to partner directly with technical leaders and influence hiring decisions through data and judgment.
Excellent communication, candidate engagement, and stakeholder management skills.
High ownership, operational rigor, and comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Familiarity with the modern AI stack (LLMs, data pipelines, MLOps, cloud infrastructure).
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting in AI, ML, data infrastructure, or platform engineering.
Experience hiring for services, consulting, or forward-deployed product teams.
Existing network within technical or AI communities.
