Role Description
NewtonX is looking to hire a Strategic Insights Growth Manager to support our rapid growth, and connect NewtonX clients to world-leading professionals. This role is a great entry point into future opportunities at our quickly growing company and provides a great general business toolkit.
- Disrupt expert research the way Uber disrupted the taxi industry.
- Facilitate connections between clients and experts through our marketplace.
- Understand the granular needs of the clients and help them design their knowledge request.
- Assess in detail the specific knowledge of the request and onboard them to the platform.
- Prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with clients and experts covering all imaginable sectors of expertise, geographies, etc.
- Learn about new technologies, industries, topics daily and find ways to codify the requests into NewtonX’s knowledge graph.
- Learn new things, mentor and share knowledge with team members.
Ultimately, you will be driving the core value of the company: connecting experts to clients. This foundational role will enable you to progress quickly within NewtonX towards commercial and/or operational leadership.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of professional market research experience, agency or consultancy background strongly preferred.
- Design and oversee quantitative and qualitative research programs (e.g., brand, customer, market sizing, segmentation, U&A, innovation, B2B/B2C studies).
- Good skills in survey design, data analysis, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience in advanced analytics such as Conjoint, MaxDiff, TURF, Latent Class, Key Drivers.
- Experience with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Python) and visualization tools.
- Proven track record selling market research or insight services, not just delivering them.
- Proven record of involvement in proposals, negotiations, and deal close from start to finish.
- Strong commercial acumen: pricing, margins, deal structuring, and revenue growth.
- Exceptional client-facing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional English skills (verbal and written).
