Job Description
About Anomaly
Founded in 2020, Anomaly uses AI and healthcare data to decode complex payer behavior and close the knowledge gap between providers and payers. Our AI engine, Smart Response, analyzes hundreds of millions of healthcare encounters in real time to detect shifting payer rules and denial patterns. By continuously adapting to payer logic, it helps providers predict denials, reverse revenue loss, and hold payers accountable.
About the Role
Do you know what 837s and 835s are? Love diving into RARCs and CARCs? Do you have a strong blend of product management and hands-on analytics experience with revenue cycle and/or claims data? Are you ok with failing fast? Can you effectively communicate with data engineers, data scientists, sales leaders and subject matter experts? If this sounds like you, then we’d love to chat.
We are seeking a Product Manager to partner closely with Engineering and Data Science to identify, prioritize, and validate ML, AI, and data product opportunities that drive measurable value. You will be building clear processes for research intake, opportunity sizing, and owning the execution of deliverables. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning complex, ambiguous problems into clear priorities, learning deeply from data and customers, and delivering impactful products in a fast-growing healthcare SaaS environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead product discovery and opportunity identification for our machine learning and AI features, working closely with Clients, Subject Matter Experts, and Data Science to surface, evaluate, and prioritize high-impact opportunities
Own the process for data-driven research and prioritization, including defining problem statements, structuring analyses, and sequencing work across Product, Data Science, and Engineering
Partner with Data Science to translate exploratory analyses, models, and insights into actionable product decisions and requirements
Drive end-to-end delivery and iteration for your product area in close partnership with Engineering and Data Science
Define and track success metrics tied to customer, product, and business outcomes
Partner with Sales, Growth, and Customer Success on launches, adoption, and expansion
Contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap across Anomaly’s product suite
Develop deep domain expertise in healthcare workflows, payer logic, and revenue cycle dynamics
Required Experience
Product management experience building healthcare products (healthcare SaaS, provider-focused platforms, payer, revenue cycle, claims, or managed care).
Proven ability to lead data-heavy, cross-functional product discovery and execution, including close partnership with data science teams
Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills in regulated or high-stakes environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Curiosity, ownership mindset, and a love of solving challenging technical and business problems with great teammates
Nice to Have
Experience with payer–provider interactions, denial management, or revenue cycle workflows
Strong technical background in analytics, data science or engineering
Experience generating customer value with AI-backed products
Startup or growth-stage company experience
