This role involves contributing to the implementation of software tools essential for health care reform compliance and automated benefits enrollment within the National Employee Benefits Technology (EBTech) Department.
- Audit and upload data for customer website implementations.
- Create and configure EDI files for customer websites following best practices.
- Conduct final testing and auditing of EDI configurations.
- Guide development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and partners.
- Provide daily support to customers and assist teammates.
- Maintain a working knowledge of health and benefits products.
- Promote teamwork and a positive environment in the department.
- Ensure accountability for quality assurance in EDI/Data tasks.
- Respond to customer support queries with limited oversight.
- Serve as a subject matter resource in customer meetings.
- Follow department guidelines and engage in professional development.
- Train and mentor junior team members and specialists.
- Stay current on industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in insurance or HR.
- Experience with employee data file manipulation and EDI development.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
