Role Description
This role involves contributing legal expertise to a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving legal reasoning, statutory interpretation, and structured legal analysis in advanced AI models.
- Author legal prompts covering statutory interpretation, doctrinal analysis, contractual reasoning, and regulatory compliance
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for legal accuracy, logical reasoning, and jurisdictional consistency
- Produce high-quality human-authored gold responses for complex legal scenarios or interpretive questions
- Develop prompt variations exploring differences in legal facts, jurisdictions, procedural posture, or regulatory frameworks
- Evaluate outputs across different formats including formal legal writing, advisory memos, and analytical explanations
- Identify model failure cases involving flawed reasoning, misapplication of precedent, or jurisdictional inaccuracies
Qualifications
- Law degree such as J.D., LL.B., or equivalent legal qualification
- 2+ years of professional experience practicing law, conducting legal research, or working in legal or regulatory environments
- Active familiarity with legal systems in at least one of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks, statutes, and procedural standards within their jurisdiction
- Ability to clearly articulate legal arguments and structured legal analysis
- Excellent written communication and analytical reasoning skills
- Strong attention to legal accuracy and professional standards

- Experience working in law firms, courts, regulatory bodies, or legal research institutions
- Experience drafting legal memos, regulatory analyses, or legal research reports
- Familiarity with comparative legal analysis or cross-jurisdictional legal research
