Role Description
This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead and manage complex accounting and audit processes in a fast-paced, international environment. You will play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and timely budget consolidation for the parent company.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, including interim and year-end processes, ensuring all documentation and controls are up to date.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis, proactively addressing and resolving discrepancies.
- Consolidate budget information and forecasts, reviewing inputs and performing fluctuation analysis for accurate reporting to the parent company.
- Collaborate with accounts receivable, accounts payable, logistics, and other departments to collect necessary data for audits and financial reporting.
- Analyze and review financial data, prepare ad-hoc reports, and support special projects as required by senior management.
- Propose solutions for process efficiencies and continuous improvement within the accounting function.
- Utilize SAP, BI tools, and other specialized software to maintain accurate records, streamline reporting, and enhance overall financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in fast-paced service, sales, or corporate environments; Big 4 audit experience is a plus.
- Extensive audit experience with strong understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Advanced analytical and spreadsheet skills; experience with SAP highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize work and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent financial presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with experience identifying process improvements and implementing effective solutions.
- Adaptable and proactive, capable of working with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
- Desired: experience in business process improvement, effective communication, and fostering positive working relationships.
