Job Description

• Promote and sell ultrasound equipment for use in imaging procedures within the medical industry. • Meet or exceed established sales quotas by providing quality presentations on SVG ultrasound equipment to customers. • Develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships through regular customer contact. • Attend conferences and trade shows to increase awareness of SVG products among physicians and hospital administrators who purchase diagnostic equipment. • Maintain a detailed record of customer accounts (incl. demographics, purchasing habits, etc.) to aid in planning future sales calls. • Provide feedback to the Marketing Department regarding trends and changes discovered during sales activities. • Coordinate the scheduling of clinical demonstrations at various locations throughout territory. • Assist the Marketing Department by pre-screening potential dealerships prior to appointment of new distributorships. • Process paperwork including expense reports, time sheets, and sales activity reports. • Maintain high ethical standards in all aspects of employment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of successful sales experience required preferably in a medical device or electronic sales environment.
  • Clean driving record
  • Knowledgeable of ultrasound technology and its applications in medical settings essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills needed to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment and decision making.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated to work independently with little direct supervision.
  • Possession of reliable transportation to travel to off-site locations.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
