Location: Remote (NYC Metro preferred)
Project Status: Work contingent upon award of NYC DCAS contract (RFP)
Position Overview
Noble Hearts HR Consulting is building a roster of Performance Coaches and Leadership Development Consultants to support a proposed professional development initiative for the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS).
The Performance Coach will support workforce development initiatives by providing individual and group coaching focused on leadership effectiveness, workplace performance, communication, and professional growth.
This role is ideal for experienced executive coaches, leadership consultants, and organizational development professionals who have worked with government agencies or large institutional environments and are experienced in supporting large-scale training initiatives and coaching programs.
Selected candidates may deliver coaching engagements, facilitate group learning sessions, and support leadership development programs for large audiences (100+ participants).
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group performance coaching to support leadership development and professional growth
Facilitate coaching sessions focused on leadership effectiveness, communication, conflict management, and workplace performance
Support professional development initiatives aligned with government workforce priorities
Collaborate with instructional designers and training teams to integrate coaching strategies into leadership training programs
Deliver coaching workshops, leadership labs, and performance improvement sessions
Assist in developing coaching frameworks, leadership development resources, and performance improvement tools
Provide feedback and insights to support organizational development and workforce capability building
Maintain coaching documentation and provide summary insights on program outcomes while maintaining confidentiality
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Public Administration, or related field
Demonstrated experience providing leadership coaching, executive coaching, or performance coaching
Experience supporting large workforce development or leadership training initiatives
Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to support coaching engagements in virtual, hybrid, and in-person environments
Preferred Experience
Experience working with government agencies, public sector organizations, or municipal programs
Experience coaching mid-level managers, supervisors, or executive leaders
Experience supporting large group training programs or leadership development initiatives serving audiences of 100+ participants
Knowledge of modern leadership development frameworks and performance improvement strategies
Experience supporting organizational change, workforce transformation, or culture initiatives
Required Certifications
Candidates must hold at least one relevant professional certification demonstrating coaching competency, such as:

ICF Certified Coach (ACC, PCC, or MCC)

Certified Professional Coach (CPC)

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP

ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)

Certified Leadership Coach (CLC)
