Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a qualified Account Manager to join its industry leading sales team. You’ll be responsible for extending our market reach through targeted discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships in the Pulp & Paper industry. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to take the lead, leverage Ecolab resources and drive new customer acquisition. Through outstanding presentation skills and style, you’ll join and inspire a team of like-minded associates to achieve our company vision and help our customers be more profitable by saving water, energy and waste.

What You Will Do:
- Drive new customer acquisition
- Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, targeting prioritized opportunities
- Respond to inbound lead generation, leverage sales experience and skills to close new accounts
- Leverage knowledge of Industrial industry and sales experience to establish credibility with current and prospective customers
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management's strategic decision making, and to reflect appropriate management of the territory and sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to win new business
- Transition customers to account management team responsible for post-sales support
Position Details:
- Preferred location is Naperville, Illinois, Saint Paul, Minnesota or Houston, Texas; Open to candidates living anywhere in the U.S. close to a major airport
- Territory will include: United States / Canada
- Work Arrangement: Work from home with travel
- Travel: This role will have 50% overnight domestic travel (primarily flying)
- Relocation: If applicable, relocation assistance would be provided for the right candidate
- Vehicle: This position comes with an Ecolab-issued, non-decaled vehicle
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Five years of technical sales or field sales support experience
- Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Industrial process water treatment or commodity chemical industry experience in caustic, bleach, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, starch, wet strength, ASA and/or dyes

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The total Compensation range for this position is $135,400-$203,000 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
