Role Description
The Financial Analyst II is a professional level position working with the Finance Division team, Directors, and Managers throughout the health system, and is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to support the organization's Finance, monthly accounting close, and annual budget processes.
- General ledger accounting experience within a large ERP system.
- Understanding balance sheet accounts, specifically fixed asset accounts.
- Projects spend and obligation reconciliation, analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement, finance, and leadership.
- Proactively evaluates processes to drive improvements and reduce potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and governance requirements.
- Support capital budgets, forecasts, and long-range capital plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field required. Equivalent applicable experience, in lieu of degree, may be considered.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in finance and/or financial analysis required; preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Systems experience and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
