Role Description
This position is for a Real Estate (MRI) Manager to join the Enterprise Applications team in our Digital Advisory practice.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Mentor and develop team members
- Manage project teams and ensure value of delivery, execution, quality assurance, and adherence to budgets and timelines
- Work with stakeholders, business people, and internal project team to understand business needs, interpret information and reporting requirements, and perform testing on customized technology platforms and ERP systems
- Provide subject matter expertise based on prior experience
- Evaluate client needs and develop specifications for software configuration and implementation
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system processes
- Provide functional and or technical assistance on each project through all phases to ensure a successful project: from initiation/planning and through execution/delivery
- Drive client value through the mastery, implementation, and troubleshooting of Yardi, Real Page, and MRI core modules
- Leverage consulting experience within the Real Estate Industry to implement, troubleshoot, and lead data conversions for MRI, Real Page and/or Yardi core modules for commercial and residential clients
- Document, develop, implement, maintain, and deliver training on real estate solutions to internal and external clients
- Analyze and solve day-to-day challenges with data and analytics/reporting systems including research data and systems issues, resolve and/or prioritize issue resolution, proactively identify data quality problems and support solution identification, and review system performance; identify and recommend improvements specific to commercial real estate
- Collaborate with end-users to gather functional and technical requirements, and ensure proper testing/validation
- Provide consulting services in the areas of: strategy, technology implementation, business transformation, analytics and data, technology support, business process optimization
- Provide consulting assistance on each project through all phases to ensure a successful project: from initiation/planning and through execution/delivery
- Work with all team members and project stakeholders on the plan, roles, constraints, milestones, and critical path
- Actively listen to client needs and provide direction as needed
- Track and manage budgets and expenses for the team as required
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of proven consulting experience, within the Real Estate industry preferred
- Expert familiarity with one or more of the core modules for the industry leading solutions, Yardi, Real Page and/or MRI
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Masters’ degree a plus but not required
- Significant experience in one or more core modules within Yardi Systems, Real Page or MRI Software
- PMP or Scrum Master Certified a plus but not required
- Consulting skills and demonstrated experience in building strong customer relationships
- Strong negotiation, conflict management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, organizational and time management skills
- Experience coaching and developing junior staff
- Experience managing others
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment including Excel, Word, OneNote, Visio, MS Project and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently or in team settings
- Ability to build relationships with clients and identify future consulting opportunities
- Strong business writing and PPT skills
