About Us

At Local Crafts, we're here to help you love what you make.

We're a team of passionate makers who value the hands-on process and the beauty of handmade things. Crafting connects us—to ourselves, to others, and to the world. It's our way to unwind, create, give, and sometimes, get a little wild. It's a mindful practice that pulls us away from screens and into creativity, conversation, and yes, even a bit of math.

With a team of employees across the U.S., we design and make most of what we sell—from knitting needles and yarns to printed fabric and thread—always with care and craft at the center. Every item is tested and loved by our team, and it is this collaboration that drives us to do better every day.

We're home to a passionate community of knitters, crocheters, quilters and sewists who come to us for the highest-quality yarns, thoughtfully designed tools, and the inspiration to bring vision to life. With a product line found nowhere else, we're building more than a store—we're building a movement.

Now we’re looking for an ERP Systems Manager who will serve as the strategic owner of our NetSuite ERP system, reporting directly to the VP of Data. This role is critical to ensure our technology infrastructure supports business growth while maintaining data integrity, security, and compliance. You'll work cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions and lead system optimization initiatives.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain workflows, customizations, saved searches, and reports to meet business needs
  • Oversee system configuration across [insert scale details: e.g., 50+ users, 3 subsidiaries, processing 10,000+ transactions monthly]

Strategic ERP Planning & Operations

  • Develop and execute long-term NetSuite strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans
  • Analyze system performance and costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the NetSuite environment
  • Regularly evaluate and deploy NetSuite updates, patches, and new modules
  • Stay updated on NetSuite's latest features, trends, and developments to recommend future enhancements

Data Management & Analytics

  • Oversee data integrity, including data imports, cleansing, and validation
  • Manage system integrations with third-party applications and APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange

Project Management

  • Lead NetSuite implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancements from planning to execution
  • Document business processes, technical configurations, and user manuals for training and reference
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications

User Support and Training

  • Provide ongoing technical support to end users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system reliability
  • Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing users
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into system solutions

Compliance and Security

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and NetSuite best practices
  • Monitor system performance, resolve potential issues proactively, and ensure data security and backup protocols are in place
  • Maintain audit trails and documentation for compliance purposes
