Role Description
We are seeking a politically fluent, execution-oriented Government Relations Associate to support revenue growth through strategic engagement with our advisory network. This role sits at the intersection of sales enablement and government stakeholder strategy. You will partner closely with our Go To Market team and external government affairs advisors to influence the pipeline, prepare high-stakes messaging, and ensure we deploy political capital at the right moments in the deal cycle.

Government Relations Operations Orchestration
- Coordinate engagement across a national network of government affairs advisors
- Manage the flow of intelligence between advisors and internal go-to-market teams
- Ensure advisor relationships are activated strategically based on deal stage and stakeholder mapping
- Maintain disciplined documentation and CRM accuracy to support visibility and reporting

Deal Enablement and Advisory Support
- Develop briefing materials, talking points, and stakeholder-specific messaging for go-to-market team members and advisors
- Strategize approaches to meeting requests and executive introductions
- Monitor legislative activity, procurement signals, and industry intelligence
- Support follow-up communications and stakeholder relationship continuity
- Maintain accurate opportunity records and notes in Salesforce

Conference and Market Activation
- Support conference strategy and meeting density planning
- Coordinate advisor engagement around key industry events
- Assist with advisor retreat preparation and execution
- Work cross-functionally to ensure market presence converts into qualified meetings

Stakeholder Ecosystem Mapping
- Build and maintain a living “who’s who” database of key public sector stakeholders
- Map influence, relationships, committee structure, and decision pathways
- Identify gaps in advisor coverage and surface expansion opportunities
Qualifications
- Prior internship experience in a legislative office, public affairs firm, or government relations setting
- Clear fluency in state or local government structure, legislative process, and procurement dynamics
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Government Affairs, Political Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
- High emotional intelligence and comfort engaging with elected officials, advisors, and executive-level stakeholders
Bonus Points For
- Experience working with state or local elected officials
- Exposure to GovTech or SaaS environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Experience supporting conference strategy or stakeholder events
