Job Description
Description
How You Impact the Big Picture:
As a Data Processing Hygiene Specialist, you play a vital role in supporting EWTN’s fundraising mission by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of donor data. Your work directly impacts donor relationships, reporting, and fundraising effectiveness by maintaining a clean, secure, and trustworthy CRM database that helps advance EWTN’s mission.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will review, quality-check, and import daily gift batches into the fundraising CRM database while ensuring accuracy and adherence to established workflows and business rules. You will update and research donor records through assigned tasks and data hygiene projects, using the CRM system and approved research tools to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality. Your responsibilities include ongoing data cleansing to remove duplicates, maintain accurate and current contact information, and enhance key donor data points. You will clearly document all actions taken within donor records, maintain strict confidentiality of donor and fundraising information, and ensure the security of donor payment data. Collaboration with team members and completion of additional assigned duties are also key aspects of the role.
About You:
You bring at least one to two years of experience in donation processing or data entry, including hands-on experience with data hygiene or data cleansing, and are comfortable working within a fundraising CRM environment. You have strong analytical and investigative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of proper name and address formatting. You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, and are able to document your work accurately and thoughtfully. You are proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and other Windows-based tools, demonstrate strong time management skills, and are eager to learn new technologies. You work well in a team-oriented environment, maintain a friendly and cooperative attitude, and, ideally, have familiarity with fundraising operations as well as an understanding of the Catholic faith and EWTN’s mission.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE:
- We offer a career with purpose! Apply your God-given talents, knowing your contributions help to advance EWTN’s mission of sharing the Gospel with the world.
- Caring environment. We value the importance of family/life balance and welcome you as an EWTN family member, not just an employee.
- Freedom to participate in Mass, visit the chapel for prayer or attend an annual retreat.
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability insurance and Retirement Savings Plan.
- 11 Paid Holidays and generous Paid Time Off program.
- Tuition reimbursement for online continuing education and degree programs through our partnership with Catholic International University.
- Ability to learn alongside legacy employees while bringing new ideas to the growing team.
