Position Summary:
The Senior Manager – Technology Strategy, Transformation & Operations plays a critical role in enabling the success of the Digital Engineering organization by driving transformation initiatives, strengthening operating rhythms, and improving organizational effectiveness.
This role partners closely with engineering, product, platform, and AI leaders to coordinate strategic initiatives, support large-scale digital transformation efforts, and ensure effective communication and alignment across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong program leadership, change management expertise, and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels within a fast-paced technology organization.
Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation Leadership
• Support execution of strategic transformation initiatives across the Digital Engineering organization.
• Coordinate large-scale modernization efforts including platform evolution, digital experience improvements, AI adoption, and engineering productivity initiatives.
• Help drive change management strategies that enable teams to successfully adopt new platforms, tools, and operating models.
Strategic Program Coordination
• Track and coordinate cross-team initiatives spanning Digital Experience, Platform Engineering, AI, SRE, and Integrations.
• Establish mechanisms to monitor progress, risks, and dependencies across complex transformation programs.
• Ensure leadership visibility into critical milestones, program health, and execution outcomes.
Organizational Operating Rhythm
• Manage the operating cadence of the Digital Engineering leadership team, including:
• Leadership staff meetings
• Quarterly planning
• Strategic reviews
• Organizational communications
• Help ensure alignment across engineering, product, and platform teams.
Leadership Enablement
• Support the VP of Digital Engineering in preparing key leadership materials, strategic updates, and executive communications.
• Help translate strategic priorities into operational execution across teams.
• Enable leaders to focus on innovation, architecture, and delivery by removing operational friction.
Organizational Culture & Engagement
• Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, collaboration, and organizational morale.
• Help drive initiatives that promote a strong engineering culture, continuous improvement, and transparency across teams.
• Support communication strategies that reinforce the organization’s mission, goals, and transformation journey.
Qualifications
Required
• 8+ years of experience in program management, strategy, operations, or transformation roles within technology organizations.
• Strong experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, and platform teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
• Experience supporting senior technology executives or large engineering organizations.
• Familiarity with modern digital platforms, cloud-native architectures, AI/ML initiatives, or enterprise transformation programs.
• Experience working within healthcare, digital platforms, or large-scale enterprise technology environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
