The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules experience to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment.  On this program, we will deliver capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, to enable and improve the customer’s IT operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise on technical capabilities related to development of ServiceNow with focus on the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions and perform integration and functional testing.
  • Work with Senior leadership and a team with a variety of subject matter expertise on the criteria and process maps required for EITSM, SPM and PPM development.
  • Collaborate with development team, project managers and Operations teams to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery
  • Create and manage scripts and workflows/flows.
  • Address problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.
  • Perform Architecture design and reviews ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state.
  • Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Build dashboards based on application data models and external data sources.
  • Participate in development of software documentation and technical reports.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to stakeholders.



Qualifications:

Required: 

  •  US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance
  • 12+ Years of relevant development experience (Bachelor’s degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience)
  • Certified ServiceNow Developer certification
  • Strategic Portfolio Management Certified Implementation Specialist certification
  • Advanced development experience with ServiceNow implementations
  • Intermediate level experience developing SPM and PPM solutions
  • Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow SPM, PPM and ITSM modules (Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management)
  • Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
  • Experience with scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
  • Understanding of technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow including the SPM module
  • Must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM, SPM and PPM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members
  • Experience in agile software development practices and experience delivering deployable software in short sprints
  • Specifically relating to the design of the PA data model, reporting requirements, and overall architecture


Desired:

  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM) - Certified Implementation Specialist
  • System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
  • Ability to contribute to the development of program architecture and standards.
  • Experience in Continuous integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) as well as SecDevOps processes and tools.
