Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to build Knotch’s PMM function, and potentially take on a larger role in Knotch’s marketing org. You will own how Knotch tells its story to the market, from messaging and positioning to launches and sales enablement.
You will be the voice of the customer internally and the voice of the product externally. You will translate complex capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with CMOs and their teams, help enable Sales and Customer Success, and ensure our go-to-market motion is clear, consistent, and effective. You must love talking to customers.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional role reporting to the COO. You will collaborate daily with Product, Sales, and Leadership, and manage external partners and agencies that support our marketing execution.
Responsibilities
- Own product positioning and messaging: articulate the unique value of Knotch’s platform to enterprise CMOs and their teams.
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new features, releases, and partnerships, from planning through post-launch impact measurement.
- Develop sales enablement materials - presentations, one-pagers, outbound POVs, and competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate with Product and Sales to define target personas, market needs, and differentiated stories that win deals.
- Build strong relationships with customers to properly understand the voice of the customer.
- Partner with external agencies and contractors to develop content, creative, and campaign assets that amplify Knotch’s message.
- Support event strategy by crafting narratives, materials, and follow-up content that turn in-person experiences into pipeline opportunities.
- Gather and analyze customer and market insights to inform messaging, product strategy, and roadmap priorities.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure consistency across all touchpoints — web, sales, events, and PR.
How to be Successful
- 8-10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with significant experience in product marketing or go-to-market strategy at a start-up or growth stage company.
- Strong storytelling skills - you can translate technical capabilities into simple, compelling business outcomes.
- Proven success supporting product launches and sales enablement in an enterprise environment.
- Experience working with agencies or contractors to deliver creative, content, and campaigns.
- Understanding of enterprise marketing buyers (especially CMOs, brand, and analytics leaders).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Comfort operating as a self-starter in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
