Job Description
Role Description
The Events Marketing Intern supports the planning, promotion, and execution of marketing events by assisting with the development of promotional assets and coordinating digital outreach efforts. This position contributes to event marketing across email, social media, and landing pages, while maintaining organized records of event plans, assets, and performance data. The role also provides general marketing support as needed to help ensure successful event execution and continuous improvement.
- Support event promotion efforts across digital channels, including email and social media by developing promotional assets for events.
- Maintain organized records of event plans, assets, and data in Excel format. Upload records and spreadsheets to SharePoint.
- Organize registration and revenue data from previous events.
- Conduct research on venues, vendors, audiences, and industry trends.
- Assist with sales reports and comparison chart.
- Assist with social media where needed.
- Additional marketing-related tasks as necessary.
This role is expected to last from May 31st, 2026 and will end on August 31st, 2026. This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00. This position will remain open until May 29, 2026.
Key Learnings
- Develop and understand SOPs (standard operating procedures).
- Develop skills around relationships with external partners which includes creating, proposing and following through on agreements.
- Refine research skills and ability to understand event data and deliver findings to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Rising Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Sport and Entertainment Management, Marketing/Communications, or similar field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Canva. Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Comfortable working with data and drawing insights.
- Self-starter.
- Must be able to work remotely.
