Role Description

This role supports accurate, timely loan closings by preparing lender figures, coordinating closing documents with settlement partners, resolving documentation issues, and ensuring funding details are correct prior to disbursement. You will work closely with the closing team, internal staff, title companies, brokers, borrowers, and attorneys.

  • Prepare lender figures, including review and approval of HUD/Settlement Statements.
  • Coordinate loan documents to be sent to the title company/attorney/settlement agent for closing.
  • Manage and resolve problems or issues that arise with loan documentation.
  • Coordinate funding details to ensure accuracy of loan disbursements.
  • Collaborate with Processing to obtain clear-to-close from underwriting.
  • Partner with the Document Specialist and Closing Manager to ensure accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance before scheduling.
  • Coordinate closing dates and keep the loan calendar current for active and estimated closings.
  • Ensure settlement partners satisfy title requirements and act as the intermediary between parties involved in the closing.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of mortgage closing experience in private money lending
  • Experience Closing Non-QM: DSCR, and private money loans (Bridge, Fix and flip)
  • Ability to manage a pipeline of 50+ loans per month.
  • Experience with basic title review, HUD/Settlement Statement review, and basic purchase contract review.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with entity documents (a plus).
