The Role

Are you interested in working on one of the fastest growing apps in the Salesforce ecosystem? Our goal at Youreka is to transform the field service industry by empowering our customer workforce with an offline-first mobile application that supports users in mission critical situations. We need expert engineers with a track record of developing cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Key Functions

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality web and mobile applications focused on performance, reliability, and usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, scope, and deliver product features end to end.
• Work across the full stack, contributing to both client-facing features and the scalable backend systems that support them.
• Implement secure coding practices and help ensure the application meets modern security and privacy standards.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Contribute to a culture of learning, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as React or similar for web and mobile development.
• Experience building cross-platform mobile apps with Capacitor or React Native.
• Strong adoption and demonstrated experience using AI-assisted coding and automation tools 
• Curiosity about emerging AI technologies that enhance developer efficiency.
• Understanding of AWS services and best practices for building, deploying, and maintaining applications in the cloud.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern integration patterns.
• Knowledge of web and mobile security principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure data storage.
• Experience with modern development practices such as Git, CI/CD, agile methodologies, automated testing, and performance optimization.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Salesforce platform experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, or Salesforce API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM for serverless and containerized application development.

Salary

The base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $105,000 annually. Actual pay within the range is influenced by multiple factors, including but not limited to skill set, your residence location, and prior work experience. In addition to base salary, this position is also eligible for equity and benefits that are not included in the provided pay range.

Location

Youreka fully accommodates remote work, as long as you have a permanent residence within the many states we are registered in. Want to spend a month in Italy? Great, do it! Live in Idaho? Sweet, we have another team member there! As long as you are crushing your goals and helping us drive the business forward, you do you. We also have an office in Boston that is open and available for you to use.
