Job Description

• Deliver successful Red Hat Ansible workshops of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions. • Scope evaluations and guide customers through successful proofs of concept and pilot deployments. • Work closely with internal product teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services, Support, and Sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s products • Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk. • Demonstrate thought leadership in the Ansible communities by producing world-class white papers, webinars, etc., and speaking at industry-leading conferences.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT industry experience, working in regulated industries including finance, government, healthcare and power
  • Solid Linux system administration skills - level Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) desired - will need to be obtained if not already possessed
  • Expert in Ansible development and in the Ansible Automation Platform
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Solid background in consultative customer engagement with a major professional services organization or within the services division of a major software company
  • Track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms
  • Solutions-sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services
  • Ability to work seamlessly with distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
  • Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills with a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Business-level communication and presentation skills.
