The Providence Health Plan (PHP) Principal Business Analyst serves as a lead resource for reporting, planning, and analysis within Health Plan Operations. This role drives complex business and enterprise initiatives that enhance operational performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Combining advanced analytical skills with strong business acumen, the position influences strategic decision‑making and supports operational excellence across multiple functional areas.

This position works 100% remote and is open to candidates residing in:

  • Oregon
  • Washington
  • California

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.    
  • 8 years Healthcare Business Analysis or related field specific to business analysis.
  • 8 years utilization of reporting and analytic tools and techniques.
  • Proven experience in leading cross function teams, coordinating resources, setting timelines and deliverables for successful completion of project work.
  • 3 years proven experience in a Senior or Principal Business Analyst role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
