Description
RJP (Real Job Preview) Zoom call with the Maximus team will be March 10th from 1:00-2:30, equipment pick up will be March 23 from East Lansing and the training will start 3/24.
Position will be remote indefinitely at this time. Must have a quiet place to work without distractions, internet speed of 20 mbps.
Hours: Monday - Friday. Must be available from 8am-5pm. Starting hourly rate is $15.00hr.
Training Hours/Days: MBSH: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM M-F, 13 days – subject to change
Answer inbound calls providing education, enrollment, and helpline services for the State of Michigan. This specific role will be assisting clients with the Atypical Provider program that helps Michigan residents apply for assistance with Home Health care services. They will help clients that may be having trouble navigating the website or individuals that do not have access to the website. They answer questions about navigating the portal and setting up services
Handles customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone, recording consistent problem areas. May respond to e-mail inquiries. Customer service is the primary function. Calls are basic and routine. Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting. May respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more staff. Communicates routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal and external contacts
• Must live within the state of Michigan
• 25 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload internet speed, at least 30 GB of data (50 Mbps if you share internet with others in the household)
• Quiet place/distraction free, smart phone or tablet
• Working remotely is not a substitute for dependent care
• Must sign all agreements

Clear and articulate speech as this position is over the phone
Customer service experience (could be call center, retail, banking, face to face or over the phone customer service)
Shift flexible

Here are a few reasons why candidates aren’t selected:
• Unable to give a 3-month commitment
• Needing time off during training (Maximus encourages suppliers to support the Attendance policy that there is “no” approved time off during training and will be subjected to attendance points/end assignment).
• Candidates not on camera during the entire RJP. Maximus cannot determine if they are engaged.
• All candidates must attend the RJP.
• Behavioral concerns during the RJP; laying down, sleeping, distraction from infants/kids, driving, shopping, etc.
• Lacks the basic functional technical abilities necessary to be successful in the role
• Very low typing score
