Job Description
ABOUT ROCKET DOCTOR
Rocket Doctor is a digital health platform and marketplace that is breaking down obstacles that limit access to quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective healthcare. Our proprietary software equips doctors with the tools to run successful independent practices in virtual and hybridized in-person models of care, enabling them to provide tailored support to patients in rural and remote communities across Canada and on Medicaid and Medicare across the United States.
Leveraging large language models, AI/ML, and wireless medical devices, Rocket Doctor is bridging the healthcare divide. Joining us now means stepping into a company that’s scaling quickly, evolving boldly, and committed to transforming how healthcare is delivered. If you’re excited about shaping the future of care and making a real impact for millions of patients, we’d love to meet you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative, strategic Content Marketing Manager who is ready to lead Rocket Doctor’s organic growth. Reporting to our Director of Growth, you will be the voice of our brand across all social channels, ensuring our messaging remains empathetic, authoritative, and human.
The ideal candidate has a deep foundation in traditional content marketing but is an "early adopter" of Generative AI tools and modern editing suites. We aren't looking for someone to let the AI do the thinking; we want a strategist who uses AI to handle the heavy lifting of production—allowing for more time to focus on high-level storytelling, community building, and creative innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hybrid Content & Visual Production
- Scalable Video Strategy: Leverage professional editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut) alongside AI platforms (HeyGen, ElevenLabs) to create a high volume of video content—from high-touch patient stories to rapid-fire AI-avatar explainers.
- Modern Visual Design: Use tools like Midjourney or DALL-E to supplement traditional design (Canva/Figma), creating high-fidelity, scroll-stopping assets for organic social.
- Sales Enablement & Presentations: Own the design and production of professional investor decks, partnership pitch materials, and executive presentations. You will ensure that every external business document reflects our premium brand identity and communicates complex medical/tech concepts clearly.
- Strategic Copywriting: Draft compelling scripts and posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, and X. You will use LLMs (ChatGPT/Gemini Pro) to brainstorm hooks and "remix" long-form content into bite-sized social gems.
- Brand Voice Mastery: Ensure that all content—whether AI-assisted or hand-crafted—stays 100% on-brand and resonates with our diverse patient and physician audiences.
Social Media & Community Growth
- Channel Ownership: Manage the organic presence and growth of our LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook/Meta, and TikTok channels.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work with an offshore team member to manage public comments and reviews, ensuring our community feels heard and supported.
- Organic Optimization: Use iterative format testing to identify which content types (short-form video, carousels, or AI-driven explainers) drive the most organic reach and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and social media content creation.
- The "Hybrid" Skill Set: Strong creative foundations (writing/design) combined with hands-on experience using Generative AI (text, image, and video) and Video Editing suites (CapCut, Premiere).
- Platform Expert: Deep knowledge of social algorithms and how to grow a brand organically.
- Agile Mindset: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, virtual environment and manage deadlines effectively.
BENEFITS
- Entirely virtual work – Do the job from anywhere in the world.
- Join a team that values innovation, creativity, and accountability, and cultivates a positive culture of open communication.
- Compensation commensurate with experience and AI proficiency.
EQUITY STATEMENT
We are committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and accessible environment, where everyone feels valued, respected and supported, with a workforce that reflects the diversity of our community. We particularly encourage women, Black people, Indigenous peoples, people of colour, and members of the LGBTQIA community to apply.
